The son of Deacon Jonathan Latham and Mary Avery was William Latham bapt. May 10 1741 d. Jan. 27 1792 m. Eunice Forsyth. He was ensign of the 1st co. 6th reg't in 1775 He became 2nd lt. in 1776 and Capt in 1780.
