Career Objectives

I have five years' experience working both as a web designer and developer as well as a client manager. Recently, I have been working as a freelance web designer. Previously, I have worked at a web design firm as well as "in house" for a single company. I am seeking to be employed full-time in either of those work environments.

While pursuing a master's degree in Christian education, I have found that the creative and logical process involved in communicating through web design parallels and has enhanced the skills I have acquired in my graduate studies.

Web design challenges me to think non-linearly while presenting information. I also enjoy the technical, programming aspect coupled with the artistic aspect of a good web site's user interface. I enjoy discovering clients needs and "wowing" them with designs that serve their needs and help them accomplish their goals. I have the patience and determination to wade through details in order to do a job right the first time.
