1. my lil tomatoes!, look, 3 of them are now ripe, i will put them in a salad tomorrow, or maybe slice them on a bagel with cream cheese...
2.that my kids are healthy
3.for Andy, who made sure that when i woke, i had cream and not soymilk for my coffee.
4.for the ability to sit here, type, read and ride my bike all at the same time :) |

 1. started back to school tonight, got my school id and car decal...found my room, made it on time...WOO HOO!

well, here it is, Saturday 1.1.05, 11:27pm...the last 1/2 hr of the 1st day of what i hope will be a better year for all...
i am very excited that i have learned so much over the last few days, it may sound silly to get so excited about something so simple, but i REALLY love to learn new things and i really feel so good when i can figure out how something works....the feeling of accomplishment & discovery has to be one of the best feelings for me....
the Podcasting thing is really awesome, i am so glad i discovered this, this lil window into others lives, thoughts etc....
all of the Podcasts i have heard so far have their own unique charm, like all things and all people do...some are slick, polished and well thought out, some rough, awkward and done in haste...
well, here is a hope for a better year for my friends and family.... some of you i have yet to meet....

i know, this sounds corny and unlike me, but 2005 has to be a better, sweeter, more grateful time
1/2/05
1.the sounds of my family disturbing my sleep, my son, always louder doing anything than anyone, the dogs barking, my daughters music....i am so grateful for the sounds that wake me, for they are the sounds of those i love.
2.coffee.....mmmmmm...
3.technology, i was able to listen to a person(Mur Laferty),whom i have never met, read her essay from durham, nc. via her podcast, transmitted through my hello kitty speakers while drinking delicious coffee and reading text messages & emails from friends....friends i haven?t spoken to in soooooo long and some i have never met. it was a suprise as warm and delicious as my coffee....and all of these things made me warm inside....

Tonight is soooooooooo, slow, all i have been doing is taking pix and goofing around on the computer... I guess those days are over, i will be here during the day and i guess as a studio manager, they will expect me to actually do SOMETHING....

 FUCKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think i lost all of my previous entries, i have no idea what i wrote...or if i saved all the pix (all of which i took specifically to go with each entry with the exception of "Nelson" whom i have never met or photographed.) Sigh & double sigh, i think it is all saved to a Disk Image, but i am not sure....
Mainly, i hope the pic and entry with my lil tomato plants is retrievable....
Anyway, i learned some additional information about this software, the uh, HARDWAY!

well, it is my last week of working at night...
ugh, the drive can be brutal....well, i guess brutal is a bit of an exaggeration...it is just kind of a long drive, and with traffic, it can be a bit longer, but with a drink, an ipod and a camera it can be cool too....(the above pic was taken on my drive into work tonight)
tomorrow my school starts, i am excited and anxious....it has been about 5 years since i have taken classes and i miss it... i like the whole feel of going to school and i love being around young people and people who are learing, but i am so nervous, you know? that feeling like ..."i hope the kids at school will like me"....
Maybe i need a cool lunchbox & a trapper keeper?
