We moored the night of Day 3 in Dromod, another cute town. On the morning of Day 4, we couldn't see the buoys because of the fog. Another boat departed about 8:30 a.m., and we wondered if we should leave too. About 30 minutes later, we heard shouts and learned that their rental boat had ended up on some rocks. Good thing we decided to stay put! The weather never cleared and we had to stay an extra night and day in Dromod. On Day 5 we followed the damaged boat (rescued by the fleet owner from the rocks) up the river to our final destination at Carrick-on-Shannon.
