Got a cat - Pepper


We started looking specifically for a declawed cat just because we were worried she'd otherwise destroy the house and we couldn't bring ourselves to declaw a kitten, which was the original plan.

Last Thursday, Marc and I got a new cat at the Everett Animal Shelter. Her name is Pepper and she's a cutie.



We saw her "posted" on the internet (www.petfinder.com ) and thought she'd be perfect for us. She's about a year old and is declawed. We started looking specifically for a declawed cat just because we were worried she'd otherwise destroy the house and we couldn't bring ourselves to declaw a kitten, which was the original plan.

She's still soaking everything in at the house. She's been pretty solitary, but comes out to hang out with us mostly in the evening. She's really affectionate though, and loves being petted.
