Last of the weekend working? Playing some games...
Yesterday, Marc and I rented a 32" foot ladder to
fix some damage done by birds on the underneath of our house's
roof.
I had Saturday the 30th off. I'm here now on
Sunday as we head toward making a final GOLD candidate. We're getting there,
though. We just had a few bugs come in from VUGs and only 1 A. It's already
fixed as of this morning. So, we're looking really
good.Yesterday, Marc and I rented a
32" foot ladder to fix some damage done by birds on the underneath of our
house's roof. So I got up there and put a little primer on the damaged areas
and added a wire mesh so they can't get up there. It was pretty wild. I'm not
afraid of heights, but the workspace was tight. We had everything done in no
time. We were also going to replace a light bulb above our balcony, but the
resulting fiasco nearly caused the ladder to go through an upstairs window. We
decided to tackle that another day.In
the meantime, I've just been trying to relax. I've been playing a lot of my
PSP.
I
finished Kao Challengers this past week. It was a surprisingly good title.
Nothing extraordinary, but not bad either. I remember playing about a 1/4 of
the original Dreamcast title. This is way better and much more playable. It's
a really nice platformer. At $19.99, it was hard to pass
up.
I've
been playing Pac-Man World 3 on the PSP off and on for the past 2 months. This
is a really good title. As a platformer, there's a lot of nice things going on
in here. It would be interesting to compare and contrast the PSP version with
the console game. If anything, I bet the controls on the console version would
be better. But as it is, the visuals are great on the PSP and it seems to be a
direct port. I don't know if I'm close to finishing it yet.
