Nothing too much going on

I was collecting FF back in the day and when John Byrne took over the series, wow, he took it in directions that no one had attempted previously.

Nothing much is going on, busy at work and so on. Marc and I had our 9th anniversary this past week. Last night, we went out and had a good dinner at Atlas Foods in the U Village. I wasn't in the mood to go somewhere really fancy.

We did a little shopping and looking around as well. I bought a ton of magazines and a Fantastic Four trade paperback at Barnes & Noble . I was almost going to buy a Painter IX book, but I knew I could find it cheaper online. The book lists for $50. I looked at Wal-Mart.com and they had it for $30! Wal-mart.com always has the lowest prices on books. Even lower than Amazon. So I rarely purchase a book in a bookstore.

I did pick up a couple of issues of Retro Gamer magazine which is always kind of fun to read. It's a magazine the focuses almost entirely on games from the 80s. A lot of weird UK and European stuff, but it's fun to reminisce.

I also picked up Fantastic Four Visionaries Vol.2 - John Byrne. I was collecting FF back in the day and when John Byrne took over the series, wow, he took it in directions that no one had attempted previously. Seriously good stuff.

It almost has been like I've been suffering from exhaustion or something. This past week I can physically feel the stress of the past few weeks. 3 more weeks, I'll be able to make it.
