The de la Fuente
Restaurant Power Rankings are now official through March 6. New additions to the
dPR include the Iowa Machine Shed and Culver's Frozen Custard.
There wasn't a great deal of movement in this week's
dPR. The Global Division's newcomer is the Iowa Machine Shed, whose name alone
necessitates its own journal entry. The Cheesecake Factory is in at #2 in the
Chain Division, but that was actually an oversight on my part. It should have
been there in the initial rankings. My dad knew that I had eaten there in
January, and thought it funny that it was missing from the list. The Counter
Division had the most movement, as Panera vaulted into the top spot on the
strength of two strong showings in Dubuque. Culver's broke into the Top Five
because of its fine frozen custard and spotless dining area. Without further
ado, here are the dPR through March
