| Gravestone found in yard on Waterproof Plantation, Tensas Parish, La., has following inscription: Jane, wife of John Hoggatt and daughter of Rober & Sar 111 Miller Born 1797 Hibernia Hughes to Susan Miller 3 Jun 1834:"I have heard from Cousin Jane Haggette since you were here, but have not seen her. She was quite well the last time I heard " Will dated 8 Jun 1837 of Jane Williams (late widow of John Haygate deceased and now wife of Benjamin Williams) "all real and personal estate to my following nieces and nephews in fee simple share and share alike equally to each of them namely Benjamin R. Miller and Pickens E. Miller minor sons of Joseph Miller now deceased. Sarah Ann Miller and Mary Jane Miller minor children of Stephen C. Miller deceased and Emily Jane Smith minor daughter of my deceased sister Mary Smith my said nephews and neices bing five in number as above named. And I nominate and appoint my Brothers Ebenezer Miller and James Miller executors of this my last will and testament..."
