H. Ashby Miller, member of the Ruleville board of aldermen for many years, and who was connected with Planters Bank and Trust Co. here, died at his home following a long illness.
Services were conducted Friday morning at the Ruleville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Guy Reedy officiating, assisted by the Rev. R. A. Bolling of Cleveland. Interment was in Lehrton cemetery.
Born in Oxford, Mr. Miller had resided here for 34 years. He was a Mason, Rotarian and an elder in the Presbyterian Church. He was a veteran of World War I.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Madge Anderson Miller; a brother, Walton Miller, and a sister, Kate Miller, both of Oxford.
