Mrs. Virginia Miller Clark, wife of Dr. James A. Clark, Sr., Ruleville physician for more than 50 years, died at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. She was 75
Services were held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning at the Ruleville Methodist Church with Dr. Richard Bolling of Cleveland officiating, assisted by the Rev. C. L. Rogers of Ruleville. Burial was in Lehrton Cemetery with Thweatt Funeral Home of Cleveland in charge.
Mrs. Clark was born at Oxford, Miss. and attended the University of Mississippi. She taught in the high schools of Greenwood, Clarksdale and Laurel several years before marrying Dr. Clark, June 5, 1910.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Cleveland. |
