The information below applies to the second trial now. Frankly I'm surprised Lana Clarkson hasn't been charged with defaming Spector's reputation and messing up his floors.
WHAT: In the event that Phil Spector is acquitted of the murder of Lana Clarkson, women and those who support justice for them will take to the streets in protest. We must draw a line in the sand and say that it no longer open season on women.
WHEN: Immediately following a not guilty verdict.
WHERE: In front of L A County Superior Court 111 N Hill St Los Angeles, CA 90012 WHY: OJ went free. Robert Blake went free. If Spector goes free and we do not take to the streets, then we are accepting the killing of women with impunity. This is unacceptable and we will no longer allow business as usual.
If you cannot make it to the courthouse, then wherever you are, stop. Stop traffic, scream; shout. Carry a picket sign. I will make flyers that you can print out. Be creative. Hunting season is over.
Stay tuned. Stay prepared. We will not allow a system that allows us to be murdered and then blame us for it. Lana deserves better. We all do.
