Payment Terms
All new customers are required to prepay for all advertising though Best Step Media for the first month of advertising. New clients are welcome to pay via cheque, but if the advertisement is to appear before the cheque clearing date new customers would be required to pay online with any credit or debit card via our paypal account. This invoice can be sent to an email of your choice. Note : an extra 3.4% service charge that will be added onto your invoice if using paypal. For payment via BACS please call us for account number and sort code remembering the times funds may need to clear.
All Ltd Company orders for advertising with Best Step Media are financially responsible by not only the company but also the individual who places the order as a personal guarantee.
Existing customers (that have been approved for credit with us) have a 30 day credit agreement with Best Step Media.
Overdue payments
If unpaid after the 30 day agreement, a reminder will be sent. If payment isn't received after 7 days of the reminder all future advertising and/or services will be temporarily put on hold until such time as payment has been received and cleared. Best Step Media work together with Lawson Maclaine for debit management, terms for collection can be found on their web site at http://www.lawsonmaclaine.co.uk.
Web site Terms
When ordering a website please note that once the site has been signed for and work has started, you will then be invoiced on our thirty day account agreement. If the client wishes the web site to be up and running before paying, the client has 30 days in which to provide changes and/or any additional alterations to the design or service provided in the said credit 30 day agreement timescale. Best Step Media agrees to deliver the requested work in a timely manner and shall conform to the standards as agreed.
The client understands that all files, web pages, graphics and programming work, except those provided by themselves, are the property of Best Step Media until any and all fees are paid in full at which time the client retains ownership. In the case of any programming (scripting) work, which includes shopping carts, banner rotation programs, database programs and the like, the client understands that they do not have any rights to duplicate, resell or give away any programs created by Best Step Media.
The client understands that they have rights only to web publication. The client also understands that all works, expressly marked or not, are protected by copyright laws. Best Step Media will take no responsibility for ensuring material supplied by the client has been authorised for reproduction. The client further warrants that they either own or have properly licensed/obtained copyright(s) or copyright permission to any work which they have supplied for use/reproduction, and the client agrees to assume full legal and financial responsibility for any copyright suit or action which may take place regarding materials they have supplied.
Please note, payments made later than on month from invoice date are liable to pay an extra 3% charge of total Invoice.
