| We JUST got back late last night (Wednesday). We were supposed to get in noon Tuesday. You can do the math and it equals way too much time in the Lima airport and a jaunt to Mexico City for an hour layover. But the time spent in Iquitos with Todd and Jessica was so incredible the miserable trip home can't take anything away from the memories. As you can imagine I am very tired since we went two nights without sleep! I have pages to write--more than you'll want to read, I'm sure! Will and I killed some time in the airport food court by jotting down all of the things, people, and smells we experienced on the trip, and I cannot wait to commit them to computer! But I must. The only thing better than an amazing trip away from home is the amazing return of your head to your own pillow. Tomorrow I will type away. So check back! |
