1. Study the "Bill of Rights for Homeowners in Associations: Basic Principles of Consumer Protection and Sample Model Statute" recently published by AARP. It is available both in the AARP magazine or on their website, www.aarp.org.

2. Read a new book, Surviving Homeowner Associations, by Arlene Bandy.

3. Study the website www.CCFJ.net and join this Florida grassroots organization which works to change the laws in Tallahassee governing HOAs.
