The BaywindsLife© Team members need to pat themselves on the back. Only upon your persistence and assistance have we finally opened the eyes of the Presidents, our leaders, to the FL Statutes. Lennar chose these Presidents to run the Master, until sometime next year. It is now apparent that the Presidents do not know how to run an organization like the Baywinds Community. They thought they were above the FL Statutes.

It took Lennar and their legal staff to remind these Presidents that they shall respect and obey the Florida Statutes regarding committee meetings. As I stated before, the Presidents need to review these statutes if they are to become respected Baywinds Community leaders. It is very obvious that none of them ever read them with any respect. Maybe the Presidents can hire legal council to show them how to conduct business that will meet the requirements of FL law.

Fact 1. The Presidents did not speak out against their closed meetings. However, one could argue that one of these neighborhood Presidents had some idea of the statutes. However, one could also argue that it is conceivable that the knowledgeable (the Presidents) ones really did not care about how business should be conducted.

Fact 2. It should also be noted, the Presidents indicated at their neighborhood meetings that they never met in secret with Lennar. We now know this was not the case. In some cases a President was ready to challenge residents remarks with a possible law suit.

Fact 3. The committee has publically announced any formal organizational structure. It appears that Al Tsacnaris is the leader of the group and that he needs to improve his leadership skills. He has little or no respect for the Florida Statutes. He conducts meetings without an agenda and locks out residents to the committee meetings.

These Presidents should revisit their positions and begin dealing with residents with the respect that they expect the residents to extend to them. These residents are not “recreational dissidents” as indicated by their lawyer. They are our neighbors and friends and should be treated as such.

It has been reported that, according to Lennar, Al Tsacnaris indicated that the meetings will now be noticed and open to the Baywinds' membership. Confirmation that the Committee has agreed to this has been requested from Al.

If BaywindsLife© through its leadership did not crack open the door, many of our Baywinds residents would be left to remain in a mushroom state. We have been feed horse feathers and kept in the dark by these Presidents.
