WELCOME TO SAILFISH COVE

Thank you for visiting the BaywindsLife©  website and this Sailfish Cove Welcome Page.  Sailfish Cove is a community of 36 single family unattached homes in the Baywinds community.  Sailfish Cove is one of the eleven active communities in Baywinds.

The Baywinds site plan shows that Sailfish Cove is located on the north western side of the Baywinds community. There are two lakes associated with the Sailfish Cove community. One of the two lakes is shared with The Estates, our neighbor to the east.  On the western side of Sailfish Cove shares a lake with of neighbor Lighthouse Pointe. The houses that do not back onto lakes are backed onto the wetland preserves and an open area. 

The Sailfish Cove community, like other communities in Baywinds, is governed by two (2) shared documents and one (1) document just for our community.  The shared documents are Baywinds Community and Baywinds Club.  As homeowners in Sailfish Cove, we agreed with these documents when we purchased our homes.  The residents of Sailfish Cove have an annual meeting, the General Membership Meeting.  We have five (5) Directors on our Board that are voted into office at the annual membership by the owners of Sailfish Cove.  The five board members meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 7 PM in the clubhouse to conduct Sailfish Cove business.  All homeowners and residents are welcome at these meetings.  Please contact the secretary to be placed on the Sailfish Cove community’s agenda for the Board or General meetings. Copies of approved minutes of the Sailfish Board of Director’s and General Membership meetings are available.  Please contact the secretary.

Sailfish Cove community, as part of Baywinds, offers its residents and homeowners a beautiful landscaped active adult community.  Additional landscaping and screened in areas can be added to the Sailfish Cove owner’s property, with approval of Sailfish Cove’s Architectural Committee.  Homeowners are required to complete an application for alterations for changes to the outside of their homes.  Please contact your board members or the Sailfish Property Management for further information.

As Sailfish Cove homeowners, we are members of Club Baywinds. Club Baywinds has a charming resort ambiance and is enhanced by facilities with a stage, and include a grand ballroom, rooms for card game players, billiards, multimedia events, arts and crafts, exercise, aerobics, and a library/ computer center. The club offers tennis courts, bocce and shuffleboard areas, and 3 pools and a whirlpool. Activities and Events are scheduled regularly.  Club Baywinds posts their activities on the BaywindsLife©’s calendar.

Homeowners and residents of Sailfish Cove can actively participate in the Baywinds' Community Emergency Response TEam (CERT) and  Citizens Observer Patrol (COP) programs.  These programs are sponsored by local government agencies. Homeowners and residents are encouraged to join these programs.

The Sailfish Cove Directory lists residents of Sailfish Cove.  Each homeowner/resident is encouraged to contact Paul Helfgott.  Paul will add telephone numbers (if you so desire) to the directory.  The Baywinds Directory on the web will reflect the changes too.  We will be able to add e-mails addresses to the directory through the homeowners link.  Please be free to contact Paul for further information.
