I was born and raised in the Boston area.  My home town is Medford, Massachusetts which also happens to be the hometown of Tufts University.  I earned a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Providence College and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Ohio State University. I retired in 2000 as a Senior Scientist from International Paper after a 25 year career.
