Complaint Filed Against Board Members, Attorney and Property Manager

February 14, 2006

Back in August of last year, approximately 100 Baywinds residents supported filing a Petition for Mediation with the State regarding the legality of the Eighth Amendment. Unfortunately, mediation failed in November.

Subsequently, a letter was sent to the Master Board members on February 3, 2006 requesting that the Board provide the legal basis for the Eighth Amendment. Unfortunately, the Board refuses to provide a valid legal basis for this Amendment. Consequently and with great reluctance, a few concerned residents, after exhausting all attempts to resolve this issue amicably, have decided to file a complaint with the courts. The complaint was filed on February 14, 2006 and can be seen by clicking here.
