About 4 years ago, Baywinds residents received notice about a planned development along Okeechobee Blvd. in front of Andros Isle. The illustrations and site plans presented at the time seemed to describe a mini-City Place (i.e., a mixture of commercial and residential units). The first phase of this plan was the fire station and now construction has begun on the next phase.
