The Biggest Thorn in the Rose Garden

This morning in the White House rose garden, the SCAB (Supreme Court Appointed Bush), held a press conference to give the nation his final thoughts before he heads off to Crawford, Texas for a month long vacation. What I don't understand is why the SCAB gets a month's vacation when there are U.S. soldiers in Iraq who were promised that they would be home weeks, if not months, ago? I don't understand it, but I'm not surprised.

What did surprise me was that the SCAB actually sounded semi-intelligent at one point during the press conference! That's right, I actually used "the SCAB" and "semi-intelligent" in the same sentence! The big event occurred when a reporter asked the SCAB for his thoughts on gay marriage. Here's what he had to say,
"Yes, I am mindful that we're all sinners, and I caution those who may try to take the speck out of their neighbor's eye when they got a log in their own. I think it's very important for our society to respect each individual, to welcome those with good hearts, to be a welcoming country."

Unfortunately, in typical SCAB-fashion, he went on to ruin the moment by continuing to talk.
