Why Change a Winning Strategy?

After the smashing success of the 2000 presidential election in which Republicans seized the White House by coercing the Supreme Court to ignore the will of the people, they're at it again in California and the SCAB's (Supreme Court Appointed Bush), home state of Texas.

In Californina, the "Recall Davis" campaign moved forward by submitting what it says are enough petition signatures to recall a duly elected and sitting state Governor. Their motivation for this campaign? California's huge budget deficit for which they say Davis is to blame. None of the organizers of the Republican sponsored campaign seem willing or able, however, to answer why they are not also recalling the SCAB, since the federal budget deficit has grown ten times larger and faster than California's.

And in the SCAB's home state, Texas House Republicans voted to redraw district maps so that if implemented, it will send 21 Republicans to the Senate, giving them control of both halves of the state's congress. Hey, they can't get there by winning elections, so what choice is left to them? I'm sure it's only a matter of time before the SCAB's administration comes up with a legal loophole to do away with all this messy voting stuff anyway. I wonder if this is what Papa Bush meant by a "New World Order?"
