The Terminator = The Womanhater?


Today the LA Times ran a story in which a number of women who either worked with or interviewed Arnold Schwarzenegger in the past confirmed that they were sexually harassed by the last action hero. To his credit, muscle-boy didn't deny the allegations, but after he tossed out a brief apology, he downplayed the allegations as misunderstandings when he was being "playful on rowdy movie sets." That doesn't explain why during an interview with a female British journalist, he grabbed the woman's nipples in an effort to determine whether or not her breasts were real.

The GOP leadership is trying to explain the LA Times story away as, "desperate Democrats slinging mud" to defeat the recall. Well if anyone knows about slinging mud, it's the GOP. This is the same GOP that impeached a US President for alleged incidents very similar to those to which Schwarzenegger admits. The real fact is that the LA Times dug up the details of these incidents and contacted the women all on their own, with no help from the Democratic party. No, if the Democrats throw some real money and political digging at this issue, they may just come up with some stuff that will make Clinton look like a choir-boy. The GOP will try to defend that too, because the last thing they'll admit is that they're backing the wrong boy for the job. Just like they refuse to admit what a screw-up the SCAB (Supreme Court Appointed Bush) is.

What's really sad is that the GOP seems completely blind to its own hypocrisy. From the hypocrisy of invoking a recall based on California's down economy, while the nation as a whole is even worse. To this latest hypocrisy of backing a candidate just like the one they impeached. I guess it's time once again for the GOP to update and expand its definition of "family values" and "morality," huh? I can't wait to see the tap-dance they'll do when Arnold finally comes out of the closet and admits that Maria is actually a transvestite! Or will that be a lap-dance?
