The Return of SCAB?

In my last entry I said that Bush was finally elected fair and square, and that he now has a mandate of the people. As it turns out, Bush's victory was by the slimmest margin since they began keeping track of those statistics, so if he does end up having a mandate, it's going to be a miniscule one! But continuing analysis of this election may prove that he once again has no mandate, and that he once again stole the election!

This morning researchers from U.C. Berkeley are going to release the results of an analysis of voting machine irregularities in Florida. Word has it that the analysis concludes that Bush received too many votes in Florida. Is anyone surprised? According to KRON 4 News this morning, the U.C. Berkeley professors who conducted the research are saying that voting machines in Florida gave Bush a quarter of a million or more votes that were never cast. I ask again, is anyone surprised? The research team also says that the odds are one in a thousand that the extra votes happened by chance. Have I asked this already; is anyone surprised?

With a recount also taking place in Ohio, the issue is far from over. The question remains: will the mainstream media bother to report it? Stay tuned for more coverage of, "Election 2000 + 4: SCAB Redux!"
