What: Casino Party!
Why: Ben's Birthday is at the end of January, but Courtney will be in Scotland then. Also, we haven't had an engagement party, yet. So of course, we will role them all into one and have a CASINO PARTY!
How it works: Instead of bringing a gift, you guys will bring a prize for the auction. It should be between $10 and $20 and preferably something you would like. It could be alcohol, a gift card, whatever. At the beginning of the night, we will hand out an equal number of chips to each person who brings a prize. We will have a poker table (Texas Hold 'em), a blackjack dealer, a roulette wheel, and (new this year!) a craps table. You play all night at the tables. At the end of the night, we will have an auction for all the prizes. In order to encourage you to bring cool prizes, the person whose prize goes for the most chips will also get a special prize.
What should you wear: Black tie optional. Of course, how we usually interpret that in Arkansas is that the shoes are optional as well (and the shirt). Dress how you want.
We will have snacks (eat dinner before you come) and drinks, so just bring your prize.
