Ixtapa, Zihuatanejo - 2006
Here are some pictures from my trip to Ixtapa. To find out more, visit my blog: http://loquaciousmusic.blogspot.com.

When I left Boston, the weather was nasty. You know, like it is.
I valet-parked my car. Can you find it?
The key word for this trip: carry-on.
Ever wondered what Logan looks like at 3:00 in the morning? Empty!
Logan again at 3:00am. There aren't even security guards.
In order to get to Hotel Brisas del Mar, you must climb this hill.
Across the street from Brisas del Mar. Starbucks -- really!
This is the sitting room outside my room.
The door to my room. "Port of Angels" is right on.
The view from my room. Please note the jacuzzi. I did.
This is the view from my balcony, looking down at the pool.
This is the view to the left...
...to the right...
...and (pretty much) centre.
Carlos and Fernanda sent this. Sadly, I didn't get to see them.
Check out what they leave on the bed...
...It's a turtle made out of towels and flower petals!
On your way down to the pool/beach, you pass the hotel bar.
This parrot says "Hello!" and "Hola!" He also bites.
There were many stairs from my room to the beach...
...110, to be exact.
There were great inlays in the steps. Here's a turtle...
...and here's a ship.
This is a view, from the pool, looking up. My room is top left.
This is a view from the pool looking toward the ocean & bistro.
This was what I saw for most of my trip.
Here's a view looking west...
...and here's one looking east.
The bistro had the biggest piece of driftwood ever out front.
Here's a front view of the bistro...
...and here's a view from the bar.
I had to take two random flower shots: this is one...
...and this is the other.
The sun is setting...
...and setting...
And here's the view from my balcony at night.
