Jon Tranberry: Bass
During college at the U Of M, Jon traded in his cherry sunburst Les Paul Custom for the first generation of Fostex 4 track cassette recorders (This is like trading in a Plasma TV for a VCR). After college Jon and his brother upgraded the Fostex to a Tascam 8 track, then again to 2 Tascam digital 8 tracks. Around this time he began recording Accident Clearinghouse and other local bands including Dillinger 4, The Jinkies, Suspect Bill, Man Afraid, Calvin Krime, Umbrella Bed, Idiot Fire, The Creepers and Liquid Ernie.

After recording with Jon, Liquid Ernie went on tour, stopping in Minot North Dakota, where they played for a host of great bands who listened to their cassette tape from the studio. This lead to parade of Minot bands driving down for weekends at OBT studio to record their songs. One of those bands was Standard Thompson who?s original members included Mike Hjelden, Loren Files and Nick Leet.

Jon continues to work with local bands recording or mastering recently for Valet, The Plastic Constellations, Jistoray, Brent Braniff and Chad Wheeling, First Prize Killers, Mollycuddle, Third Wheel, Mandrew, Minneapolis Gospel Sound and The Ashtray Hearts.
