Rob has worked as a script and songwriter for over thirty years.

He has written hundreds of song lyrics including those for Herman Van Veen, Lisbeth List, Heddy Lester and Lenette van Dongen.

Some of his songs, such as 'Suzanne', 'Rozegeur' and 'Algebra' have had chart success.

His texts have been translated into English, German, French and Finnish. Chrispijn has written, amongst many other projects, the children's opera 'Maan, Maan, Krinkelbaan' and two children's comedies for Heddy Lester and Eric Beekes.

For ten years, Chrispijn has written regularly for Sesame Street.
