Singer-songwriter Lori Spee, born in Oklahoma, has enjoyed a highly successful career in her second homeland, The Netherlands.
She is recognized for her prodigious musical achievements and have won several Edisons (the European equivalent of the Grammy Award).
Spee has participated in countless television appearances, performed concerts internationally with both symphonic and philharmonic orchestras, including the Olympic anthem
'Let the Nations Play' for the International Olympic Committee in Lausanne, Switzerland.
In 1997, she collaborated with renowned performer Herman van Veen on his critically acclaimed 'Promises' album, translating 15 of his songs into English.
Most recently, Spee wrote the music and lyrics for 'The First Lady,' an internationally touring stage production inspired by the life of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, performed by Spee.
