Jan van der Steen started building scenery on a professional basis in 1970.

He started his own scene workshop in 1993.

Since then van der Steen has built sets for theatre productions such as 'Evita', 'Les Miserables'
and 'Phantom of the Opera'...

Last year he built the set and made the props for 'Santa' in Antwerp (Belgium).

This year he is thrilled to be doing it in New York at the Beacon Theatre on Broadway.
