Christian Schnalke began his career as a cartoonist with several German newspapers and has since worked as a regular scriptwriter for various German TV programs, and written the presentation scripts of several live shows, including the presentation of the German film awards in 1997 and 1998.

Schnalke has also written scripts for television films, including 'Rosa Roth Geschlossene Gesellschaft', which was selected for the Munich Film Festival.

Currently, he teaches scriptwriting at the International Film School in Cologne and at the animation school in Hamburg.
