Not so many books this year?

I'm not reading as many books this year because I'm reading several of them more than once or in more than one format. I read Artist of the Floating World and Never Let Me Go (both by Ishiguro) two times. I also read Penelope Fitzgerald's The Bookshop twice. I'm reading Against the Day very, very slowly and more than one time - I'm kind of studying it with a group. I also did a study of Dancing With Strangers for a group. Some of the books are more dense than usual but that's always the case and there are slim volumes which make up for it.

Oh well, I wanted to read fewer and read better than before. That's what's happening. Besides, summer is coming and I plan on working on the tbr shelves.
