Very fast paced and suspenseful story of a man
whose wife goes missing but there's something
more there. Maybe it's just an underlying paranoia in the protagonist. Is the
child having some other problem? Who is really chasing whom? What was that
horse scene about? Very enjoyable book - short-listed for the Booker a few
years ago.
