Very good book about the different faces of
Israel set in around the time of the Yom Kippur War (1972). A wealthy garage
owner searches for his wife's lover while his daughter falls in love with his
Arab mechanic who is also caring for the grandmother of the lover. The book is
structured around alternating points of view of the different characters.
