The Fugitive by Marcel Proust

My goodness, only one book to go in this 7 volume novel. I'm considering each volume as a book because they're each about 500 pages long. And this one has more twists and turns in it than the priors. Marcel is first grieving Albertine's leaving him, then she supposedly dies, then he finds out that's a mistake on his part. He's obsessed throughout all this with how she deceived him and he still can't stop trying to figure things out. It did bother me that if she were dead why was there no funeral and it still bothers me that Marcel didn't even consider that but ...
