Semi-autobiographical tale of a French teen-age
girl with a single mother and two brothers, one deviant in 1950s Vietnam. The
book was published in he 1980s. The girl becomes the very willing and
"reimbursed" lover of a rich, 27 year old Chinese man. It's a complex novel and
very short (116 pages?) but totally worth reading.
