Really liked this one about a couple in mid-19th century Australia. A very religious boy-man who becomes a minister but has a gambling addiction moves to Australia to take a church. He meets a lonely but fairly wealthy Australian woman on board the ship and she shares his gambling addiction. He's gambling for faith, she's gambling for love. She dares him to take a glass church to a northern province. He takes her up on it. Wonderful book.
