Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage by Alfred Lansing

Wow! I picked it up at one of those recent Audible sales and boy, this is a true find. I generally knew about Shackleton and I kind of knew what he did, but not this specifically - now I'll never forget. I used the internet for photos - there seemed to be plenty.

I understand the Lansing book is a classic -(published in 1959). Shackleton's voyage was incredible, Lansing's writing is incredible and Prebble's narration is incredible. This is one of the best audios I've ever listened to (hundreds). Consider it recommended. I suspect after I come down from it I'll rate it a 9.5.
