Sarcasmagorical - what's with that name?


Sarcasm + Phantasmagorical = Sarcasmagorical

I came up with a rather strange name for my blog, so I thought I should explain. Perhaps some dictionary terms will help:

sarcasm - n : A keen, reproachful expression; a satirical remark uttered with some degree of scorn or contempt; a taunt; a gibe; a cutting jest.

phantasmagorical - adj : characterized by fantastic imagery and incongruous juxtapositions

Sarcasmagorical - n : a blog that passionately pursues the Truth through a myriad of subjects with eloquence, wit, and tenacity.

Perhaps it is an extremely lofty goal, but that's the endeavor.... and it sounds significantly better than the previous title of "Brant's Blog"
