A Spurgeon quote I saw on Middlebrow and had to share

Fred Sanders, over at Middlebrow, today had an excellent post on the 56th Psalm. In looking at notes from a number of great authors, and in defense of using commentaries, he has a great quote from Spurgeon. I loved this snippet from Spurgeon:

"It seems odd, that certain men who talk so much of what the Holy Spirit reveals to themselves, should think so little of what he has revealed to others.” (Spurgeon, Commenting and Commentaries, p. 11)."
