Proposition Roundup - 2006 Elections

My roundup and commentary on all of the ballot measures appearing on the 2006 elections

UPDATE: I've bumped this up to the top story for now until the election. I haven't finished all of my posts on the arguments for/against each prop, but at least you can see my scorecard here as I finish posting my reasoning. Check back, as there will be more posts coming online as I finish them, and they'll be linked from here.

Well, its voting time once again. I know all of us conservatives are supposed to be disenchanted and not voting this election (which seems to be the story every election), but we have a ton of ballot propositions this election and its time to start analyzing them. As always, here are the groundrules (explained in depth previously):

1. Default position is No.
2. Bond measures are held very suspect until proven absolutely necessary.
3. If any measure is similar to one that was passed in other elections, it is highly suspect.
4. No on anything that raises money for causes everyone agrees on, or vital services.

If any of those are not self explanatory, please read my previous post where I explain each in depth. These groundrules make it easier to analyze the propositions and form the foundation for criticism. I'll put up a post on each of the props with my reasoning as well as links to the Voter's Guide. Check back here for a summary of yes or no, and links to more in depth explanations of why.
