mistakes
If this keeps growing, I'll have to dedicate a
whole category just to advertising
mishaps that I spot. Today's mistake comes to us from Chase bank, in
a big banner on the top of their main
site:
![]() Can you spot what's wrong with this picture? First, let's go over what they are attempting to say: "Use our card because we have liability protection for your check card - it's called 'Zero Liability' because you have no liability, just like a credit card." But the way it reads is - "we have no liability protection for you... zip.. nada... zero." I know they have a slight space constraint, but if you read the sentence at face value it tells you the exact opposite of what they are attempting to convey.
