The whole floor pan got the POR-15 "Floor Pan Kit" treatment: scrape off all the old rust and paint, apply a metal cleaner, then a metal prep/rust inhibitor, then the epoxy-like POR-15 paint. The top section gets a silver then black coat, the underside got two coats of black. (Pictures of the underside were not so hot, so just the top side is shown here. I added two sections of steel tubing under the floor to give it some additional strength. The rear section would tend to give more than I liked.) |
