And - completion! The plate-like things in the front are actually pieces of reinforced fiberglass mat that came in the POR-15 kit. I'd originally planned to use the mat to seal the holes in the floor, but then my welding skills improved, and I welded them shut and felt I should use the mat for something. So I put chunks of it down where I wanted a smoother surface than what was there. All told, this was the grungiest task so far - scraping all the stuff off the ceiling (I didn't want to do that after doing the floor), both sides of the floor, with stuff running down your arms... In retrospect, I maybe should have gone with some replacement panels, but it's done now. |
