clean_and_ready_to_patch Sandblasting can remove paint, but so can paint remover and some work. This is the interior after the rear floor pan has been stripped and straightened. The floor pan was actually bowed instead of straight - caused by the car's being struck in the left rear (I found out later.)

The rear section of the floor pan after removal of the paint, straightening as best I could. As you can tell, this was not blasted; I used paint remover and various scrapers, brushes, and steel wool to remove the paint.
