I don't know what I'd do without Doug from Mini City. His knowledge of Mini's, what should go where, what won't go there, and what works has been invaluable to me. He's provided transportation, parts, advice, encouragement, and kept this project on a road to completion, when it seemed like a too dark and rock strewn path. We loaded the Mini in his trailer one evening, drove it over to the paint shop the next day, and rolled it up onto the frame rack the painter uses to elevate cars to paint. How much easier it seemed to be to work on, and see what was going on with the car up a foot or so, and room around it to back off and view body panels. But, my garage was my garage, and had already hit its limit. |
