A year or two later, when I took it to the painter, he took one look at this corner (then all coated in primer) and immediately noticed that the shape of the metal toward the rear seam was not right. Ah, well. The difference between my work and his (other than several thousand dollars) would not be noticeable by 99% of the population. It would be nice to be perfect, but it's a learning experience, after all.
