Here is one of the radius arms mounted on the subframe. An experienced eye might note the extra circle at the rubber cone spring. The old rubber cone had been removed, but not the metal frame it sits in; this was left rusted onto the subframe. Thinking it was part of the original assembly, I cleaned it, painted it, and fit the new spring on top of it. When the car was lowered to the ground, this extra piece added about half an inch to the strut/spring combo, and the car sat about a foot and a half off the ground in the back! Almost as high as when it was on the stands. |
