The Bayonne High School Band
IMG_0200
performed amazingly well at their recent competition in Edison, NJ, opening the show with their 2008 Marching Show entitled Do You Know What it Means to Miss New Orleans? The students did an amazing job and performed well. The staff and parents in attendance were really proud of the band’s success! The show was held indoors due to the poor weather, but the students sounded great!
The Band’s next performance will be right here in Bayonne (weather permitting), this Friday at the Bayonne vs. Union City game at Ahern Stadium. Then, next weekend they’ll be off to the Pulaski Day Parade in New York City! Their next USSBA competition will be on October 18th in both Somerset, NJ and Manville, NJ. That day the band will play a double-header performing at one show in the afternoon and another at night. Parents are welcome to come, but should notify Mr. Puchinsky as soon as possible to reserve room on the bus.
