Shin Ji is a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching Taekwon-Do to students. This club originated as a satellite club of Phoenix Taekwon-Do serving the Sherwood Park area. Eventually through growing membership and an increasing number of senior black belts, Shin Ji became an independent club in 2008. Our club teaches the Ch’ang Hon style of Taekwon-Do, which promotes non-contact controlled sparring and true self-defense. Our membership consists of all ages including several family groups. Often children are enrolled and the parents soon wish to join in.
